Still those are amazing gains for the price ! ! ! ! Im still undecided whether I should go with TS or Invidia exhaust. Everyone is very satisfied with Invidia and ERZ HFC combination and the sound is amazing too. But so is this TS exhaust. I hate this decisions......

Anyway this was a great review. Thanks

nice gains!

Can anyone tell if this exhaust, by been not true dual exhaust, will have any effect when combined with other mods? Im still worried about this exhaust for not been a true dual exhaust.

I'm in the same situation. I like the sound of the TS better, but it sounds it might drone on the freeway.

I just caught wind of this. From what I read, heard and saw about this TS exhaust=Winning! ha
I mean CB cost includes res Tps and piping being @ 2 3/4? Thats a pretty ill deal

hardroc86 12-13-2011 10:34 PM

Ok, I decided to give TS a chance and bought the cbe and y pipe from them. I'll post more when it comes in, should be here tomorrow! Xmas is coming early!

K&N drop-in filters actually do anything on this car? HUGE filter-area for them to actually matter. I don't think enough air is moved for the stock filters to be a restriction, but have been wrong before.

hardroc86 12-14-2011 11:53 AM

Well most of the articles I have read show that drop ins don't do that much as for a large increase in hp. I think the best you'll see is a little more response in your throttle but not much. Good luck though...also just go CAI!

ImportConvert 12-14-2011 12:07 PM

I dug around on here. Found a verified repeated dyno of an Avg HP gain of around 5whp with k&n drop-in filters on the 370.

So like I said not a lot lol. CAI usually will net u 10 to 12 depending. Not to mention it sounds great on our cars.

I'll probably save a few hundred bucks, cutting the car up, and giving the dealer "and excuse" route and just get drop ins, though.

Well whatever the route u choose enjoy it! Let us know how it turns out for u.

Nothing to worry about, it actually saves space since theres only one pipe
Especially when u install rear sway bars you'll know what I mean. And it's a weight reduction!

SS_Firehawk 03-24-2012 05:16 AM

If your exhaust has a Y pipe or your looking at exhausts and it has a Y pipe, it's not a "true" dual exhaust. That's mostly a gimmick anyways and the difference between a good Y pipe or single exhaust vs a "true" dual exhaust can't even be academically differentiated by looking at gains. The true difference is sound. Y pipe, H pipes, and X pipes all have a different sound quality to them. Of course factoring in the rest of the exhaust will change pitch and tone as well, but the sound is discernible between the three and which uses what.

very impressive! throw some HFCs on there and really open that exhaust up. :)
