Did my first oil change to synthetic...noticeable difference.

Most of the best synthetic oils are partially or completely Ester-based. Check out Motul 300V Power Racing 5W-30, Eneos, etc. Ester oil is not a gimmick, but not using it

Check out Motul 300V Power Racing 5W-30, Eneos, etc. Ester oil is not a gimmick, but not using it does not mean you lose all your durability. For the DLC coated valvetrain though, I'm sticking to the Ester oils.
