Here's a creative example what an individual did to send a message to United Airlines for breaking his guitar. 15 million hits! Any musicians/song writers out there?

Okay, so here's my dilemma...since my csc hasn't complete failed...yet (just loss some of its clutch pressure), should I even bother taking it to the stealership? Knowing how they treat others with the same problem in the past...they'll just keep my car a few days for "testing" then fill up my brake fluid anyway, or maybe flush it out and charge me for some GT-R fluid
I can just do this myself and not having to leave my car in their hands. This morning I managed to drive to work okay, although my clutch travel is noticeably less than before. Need your opinions what I should do at this point.Edit: will be ordering new HD CSC and oem MC from Joe later today. Looking at their lightweight flywheel too, most likely I will throw that in as well. Can I just upgrade the hydraulics and flywheel only while keeping my oem clutch?

I'm thinking the course of action from Nissan is nadda until people start getting into wrecks. I don't get with the price of a brand new Z climbing you would think they'd switch to an improved CSC by now. Heck, the HD-CSC ZSpeed offers doesn't even break the bank, and that's not even bulk cost.

I sure Nissan knows about the issue though because there's a TSB out saying to "flush and replace with GTR R35 brake fluid" if the clutch fluid drains and the pedal goes to the floor.. So it's not a recall but if they see the issue that's what they are supposed to do.. except that won't fix the issue.

Let's see how Nissan will weasel their way out of this one...This is what my clutch fluid looked like yesterday...there are bits of black debris sitting at the bottom of the reservoir. You can see my fluid level is about half way between Max and Min. Not sure where that fluid went... ![]() ![]() I used a syringe bulb to suck out all of the dirt and fluid from the reservoir and then filled it up with new dot 3 brake fluid I picked up earlier in the day. After doing so my clutch pressure returned, there is still some slack in the pedal however, but that was already there since I removed the clutch pedal spring. I know I'm on borrowed time right now. I'm taking it into my shop this Saturday to check out, but most likely a new clutch kit will be going in very soon.

My clutch fluid looks like that at every oil change just about. I remove the old fluid from the MC and do quick gravity bleed on the system every 5-10k miles. I am running Dot4 also. In the summer I have to do it more often due to the heat of the cats. Nissan didn't rap the little metal line down at the bottom. It has some kind of rubber protector on it but it does not cover it all and does nothing for the heat.
