There are two things you can do to make working conditions a little easier and more comfortable. First is remove the driver side seat - I think it's only like four bolts although I didn't bother to do this. The second thing is to find something level with the door sill that you can lay on top of. I set a 2-drawer wooden filing cabinet on its side and covered it with a blanket so I could shove it up next to the car. You can use a pillow or two for extra comfort if you wish. |

Any difficulty with "cruise control sensor" or "start sensor" when putting in new clutch pedal assembly ? Any helpful hints?

JAR's correct guys, you've got to be a contortionist to work on the clutch pedal. I'm of slender built and it was a bitch staying under there for 10 minutes. Never removed my drivers seat or did I put something level with the door but I think that's a great idea.

I think the cost and hassle of installing the RJM pedal was worth it and if it keeps my csc from going, then it's worth 5 times the cost, literally  Oh yeah, one last thing, I'm never going back under there to remove it when I sell the Z, no way, uh uh :icon17: |
