We did mAke it to Vegas with no issues :)

From what I've seen upgrade to z speed and also replace the mc? Anything else? Lame. I already bitched on the nissan fb page linked in this thread.

I love Nissan's canned reply statements on the FB page regarding the CSC failures.... "Contact your closest Nissan dealer". Well no s**t!

Yeah why bother. I checked my fluid and it does not seem overly dirty and it is right in between the MAX and MIN lines. What do you guys think, how long do I have? This is not my daily driver but I also don't want to get stranded somewhere

My advice to you if you plan to keep running with OEM CSC is to become a member of AAA. Choose the Premier Membership as it gives you a free 200 mile Tow.

Yeah because heaven knows Nissan will not offer up a free tow to even under warranty cars, unless you paid for that service up front.....

Lol okay. I have roadside assistance with usaa. I guess I buy the hd CSC and mc now and decide if I should do a clutch while I'm at it. Crazy.

I have tow from USAA also, and love having it. Had to use it a few times (mainly my Evo IX) and have never had a problem. I always req a flatbed to be sent, and have always gotten one.

That's what I chose to do (HD CSC, CMC, Insulated Cluthline, ACT HD Pressure Plate, ACT Street Performance Clutch Plate, ACT Streetlite Flywheel, have trans flushed & replace with MOTUL Gear Oil, & using GTR Hydraulic Fluid )

Did you buy a package from zspeed? What kit did you get?

Sounds like a good setup. How do you like it? Any regrets? How much were parts? Instal? I want a strong clutch but nothing noisy. Thanks joe.

Looks like its time to stir up more crap on Nissan's FB page.

enguyen88 07-07-2015 12:08 PM

This guy on reddit just had his CSC go out on his 2016 with less than 500 miles. Lets get this guy to the front page and make it visible.

Sent you a pm. Please help get the words out to that person.

It's ridiculous his 2016 csc went out just a few days after purchased. I'm sure Nissan will replace the failed one with another oem csc under warranty, but it will fail again :shakes head:

I posted it to reddit already. It's a joke it went out with less than 500 miles on it. You'd think after years of replacing this part Nissan would get the hint.
