If anyone defines their masculinity by what transmission type they use (of all things on Earth), they should probably start playing some sports.

I had a 1972 240Z (highly modified) for 35 years. Loved it. Finally sold it for $10,500 in 2004 and bought a 350Z AT. Truthfully, the auto was boring so I traded it in for a 2006 350Z MT. Heard the 2017 Nismo was offering AT. Went to dealer and drove it. Bought it. Took it to AAM, Maryland and had some upgrades including Up-Rev done with only 5,000 miles on OD. Dyno says I have 321Hp at the wheels. Very happy with the difference and the work at AAM. Now I'm looking for a place where I can slam it for more than 6 seconds. (Englishtown Closed) Final piece of info: I have loved driving Z cars, and my Nismo 370 2017 Z is absolutely the best I have ever driven. I'm only 78 so maybe the New 2020Z will be in my sights. Either way, Shift or Auto, they are fun cars to drive.

The problem with manuals

I think the biggest problem with the MT Z's is that it needs to be charged. Every couple of miles you need to pull the car over and plug the manual transmission into a power socket and let it charge for a few hours before you can use it again.

(this is how all the MT owners sound when describing the 7AT, which they have never driven :rofl2:)
