5000 miles is pretty safe interval. You should do oil analysis because those guys at Blackstone lab will actually guide you through your oil changes (at least in the beginning).

5000 miles is pretty safe interval. You should do oil analysis because those guys at Blackstone lab will actually guide you through your oil changes (at least in the beginning). Here are few lines from an old oil report (2nd change):
