1st gear unsmooth 6mt

Has anyone noticed that while accelerating in 1st gear, the acceleration isn't very smooth when it hits around 4-5k. It somehow slows down a little bit then goes back to normal. Does this happen to anyone else?

mine does too. don't know what it is but it seems to be a little worse in the cold. kind of bugs me but seems to get better after driving for a little bit. mine goes away once my oil temps get up in the 190-200 region.

^^ Ditto! I used to have the hardest time, but it gets better as the car warms up..

Think it is a protection . ECU may protecting the 1st gear
