the n54 engine comes with Castrol from the factory.. i switched to 0-40w soon after. currently, i'm testing out royal purples 5w-30, seems to be fine.. however, only an analysis

the n54 engine comes with Castrol from the factory.. i switched to 0-40w soon after. currently, i'm testing out royal purples 5w-30, seems to be fine.. however, only an analysis will tell. little shearing, but that is to be expected from FI engines.
i would assume a similar 5w-30 would be great for the VQ.
