With my 350z, I had done a bit of reading about purple ice versus water wetter by red line. You will find mixed reviews on each, some people claim purple ice gunks things up and WW works great, then you hear the exact opposite out of someone else.

Anyway, I ended up trying purple ice since I used their oils and got a discount when buying more stuff. It lowered my temp around 5 degrees. Nothing to write home about, but I guess every little bit helps.

I have heard of people claim up to 20 degrees, I'm not sure how that's possible, other than to say it must be very car dependent.

Sounds like it's gonna be put to better use in warmer climates. Either way only way to know for sure is to do a self test

They say to use it in freezing temps as well, which was never a concern of mine.

Motul makes Motul™ MoCOOL as another choice. There is also the hardcore approach such as Evans.
