I sure hope Nissan hasn't reproduced their oil consumption issues with the 3.7l... They seem very good at recreating the same issues over and over again... (tire feathering, fueling issues, poor paint quality, etc.)
Unfortunately some people had problem already with oil consumption on the 370Z, but no TSB out that I know off.

When I read this I feel like I should had kept my 2006 350Z which it didn't have an oil consumption, even that that was the engine with that problem and a TSB was out, dunno...

I just entered the 370Z arena, so I didn't know anyone was having oil consumption issues. But, this doesn't surpise me; though it does sadden me. I honestly am about to give up on Nissan. I have had five of their products. 2005 G35, 2003 350Z, 2006 Pathfinder, 2009 GT-R and now a 2010 370Z. I understand having issue with the first year model GT-R and 350Z, but I have had issue with every Nissan product i have owned. Their quality has really dropped over the past 10 years.

WOW, you had issues with the GT-R?

Minor ones, personally, but others are having some pretty serious issues. Myself, I had tire feathering, (too reminiscent of the 350) piss-poor paint quality, rattles and buzzes inside of the dash and rear interior (same issue with my G35). Others, who are not so lucky, are having transmission failures, steering wheel lock failures, (370 seems to be having this, as well) engines slinging rods and coming apart, (non-modified) and fuel filler problems.

Very sad when an 85k "super car" is plagued by issues Nissan has created and resolved multiple times in the past.

I am going to assume that the issues were considered minor by you as you continue to buy their products!!!!

I only had the 280zx and never had any issues with it. I only gave it up as parts were beginning to become unavailable. 1 trip to the junk yard was one too many for me.

It is more of the fact that I am a Nissan enthusiast. I have been more than willing to 'test' other models to try and keep Nissan in my blood. But, it is very quickly getting to a point to where I bail on the brand and move on to others. Porsche and Lamborghini are looking rather nice at the moment.

I know nothing about Lambos. I do however can disect air-cooled Porsches. I am still looking for a 993S as my next baby even though I still have one remaining unfinished smog-exempt 1975 model.

Good luck to a fellow car enthusiast.
