E85 and fuel treatments

I’ve run 100% methonal (carb and injection) and E85 forever. The catch can, or vacuum pump is really required for either fuel. You just have more water vapor build up

You just have more water vapor build up in the crankcase that needs to be removed while the engine is warming up.

I let my 370 sit for two years full of E85, and then took it to the track and ran my PB on the same old tank of fuel. Now, I don’t ever let alcohol based fuels sit open to the air or they will go bad.

We used lube additives for 100% alcohol, but on E85, I haven’t seen a need for it.
