Sent a test unit (comfort) to RCZ today for his independant evaluation

Since someone asked, diff mounts are no big deal to do - I just need to get my hands on a rear subframe to take the measurements (they are different from the 350Z, though not significantly). Look for those to come out in the coming months.

i"ll be looking forward to hearing back on RCZ's review may bump it up in the budget if it's a big change. I'm sure we don't have to tell him to be totally honest about his review and give it a few days before writing it

Sorry for the stupid question...but what does "increase chances of NVH" mean?

RCZ 02-27-2010 09:58 AM

NVH is just in-car noise and vibration. Harder mount = more vibration/noise gets transferred into the car instead of dampened.

RCZ...when do you expect to have the test mount in your hands and installed?

I can test the race units... Z1, please drop me a PM if interested... next track event is mar 6-7, then another later in mar

OK everyone.

I will be receiving the mounts from Z1 tomorrow. Earliest I could get them installed is Saturday. So quick review sat night followed by after thoughts as I get more time with them.

It seems like a very easy install so I don't foresee any complications. Also I wanted to point out that I was reading some reviews of Z1's 350Z transmission mounts and they are apparently complete game changers. Rave and very positive reviews! More on sat!
