No Start :(

Hey All,

I have a 2010 370z. I let it set for about two weeks in my garage. I went to start it today and it won't start :(

- The engine does turn over with the start button but it wont fire.
- The battery was replaced last year (I'll check the voltage but there's no lag and not even a hint of firing)
-I hear the pumps prime (I got desperate and unhooked the fulel line to verify there is fuel and its being pumped)
-I'm able to access the computer read outs with my OBDII scanner but no codes.
-I've always had issues with the fuel sending unit not reading accurately but it had has almost a full tank.

-It is as if it just wont fire. I changed plugs and coil packs last year.

Any ideas?

Key fob battery is dead or steering wheel lock.

Is the starter clicking at all? Have you tried jumping the battery?

- Yes, car's electrical system fully turns on. The starter turns the car over. It just keeps spinning but not even a spudder. It is as if there is no gas...but there is...cause I checked. I even disconnected the fuel line and turned th ACC on and gas came out.

- Definitely not the starter solenoid problem (dealt with that a few years ago). I would have no electrical with the solenoid issue.

- Im getting ready to place Crankshaft and camshaft sensors to try. I'm at a loss on this one....

Try unplugging the crank sensor and trying again. You can reach it pretty easily if you remove the passenger side intake.

If the car starts with it unplugged but runs rough, I'm sorry to say but you might have a bad VTC "pulley"

It could also be a top hat failure. When mine failed the ground wire came detached as well.

Well as you probably know you need fuel, spark and compression to start. You have fuel so check for spark. Next check for compression. If you have all 3 then there should be some indication of firing although maybe at improper time (i.e. thru the intake or exhaust). Lastly check again for codes or ask a friend to check using a different code reader. Let us know what happens. Good luck.
