sluggish

tried looking for a similar thread but failed in getting my answer, sorry for any misspelled words have a broken thumb and a broken pinky and too lazy or annoyed to go back and fix it. So a month or so ago I started my car it was cold 30 degrees, running late didn't give chance to warm up, it took off like it was in second gear and didn't seem to want to run like it used to. i got to work, and it was all fine at the end of the day going home.. A few weeks ago I got the same problem and this time was along with the service your engine soon message on the dash. Looked at the oil and it was very low so I bought some more to make it good on the dipstick. Also bought fuel injector cleaner and reset the ECU disconnecting the battery and it was good up until today after work when I got the service eng light back on, along with the sluggish drive. Checked all the hoses , oil, antifreeze ..all good, the Z is a '13 and just turned 36100 miles. My thought is that on the last oil change I bought the wrong oil, nonsynthetic, but sice I do my oil changes at 3k intervals figured it would not be an issue. Any gurus out there, and yes next time I get the service light on I will go to an auto parts store to see what kind of code I have...but I worked from 2 am to 2 pm and wanted o get things done befporfe I went to sleep...thanks for any replies :driving:

I see tons of views and not one reply...is what I experiencing Limpmode?....just did more research and it seems similar but I did not see if it happens to manuals vs autos...a yes or no will be sufficient
