If I am careful, goes in smoothly, but if I just push it into 5th, seems like I go past the engagement point. Prior to that I wasn't having any issues except for the 1st to 2nd shift when cold...

This is an easy fix, Remove boots on top, You will find a steel plate with 3 bolts, Loosen bolts, put in 5th gear
Push plate up to shifter and tighten bolts. Or just take it back to dealer and make them fix it since they messed it up ;)

Wanted to bring the thread back up. Haven’t driven it much since I’ve gotten a beater but it shifts smoother, much easier in gear except when running it past say 5grand. It becomes very hard to get in gear and may grind slightly. Also when the clutch is coming back up I notice the pressure isn’t as strong. I was thinking about dropping it off and getting it re bled, hoping it’s that easy. If anyone’s had this issue please post up

Up. Just wanted to check on any thoughts before I turn it to my mechanic next week

I’d been having a similar problem for a long time and I finally bled the master cylinder and it works much better now. Not perfect, but I may need to do it again or replace it.
