Improve. It all depends who did your porting and how well of a job they did. Seb’s tuning is on point, but I have a knock issue. Don’t know if it’s a false knock or real knock, we did over 150 logs with race gas twice still kept knocking which I believe is false knock, but to be on the safe side we kept the timing down. But I ran with another Z making over 340 and we are neck and neck. I never went back on the dyno after the tune. Hey if you’re interested me and SS firehawk signed up for track day at Sebring October 7th through chin motorsports.

I'm not looking for HP gains "only" from the TB's, but everything as a whole. A little crisper throttle response would be nice also, though it's pretty good already.

I won't be able to make Sebring unfortunately.

Reason I'm asking is because I'm having an upper and lower ported right now and have my tuning done also by Seb.

Also wondering if I would benefit from ported throttle bodies to help out with the ported upper and lower.

And yes, I have been searching and reading, but haven't really found anything of use.

Many thanks in advance!

I've done two track days since i got tuned by Seb and the car has ran flawless.

Glad to hear that your Z is doing good. Seb is THEE MAN!

Well I decided to order up the match ported/polished/bored TB's. They'll be punched out to 65mm. Figured why the heck not...

And I think I've mentioned this before, but we should really meet up one weekend. just for the heck of it. I'm a lonely Z owner here in this podunk town.

One of the Central Florida Z Club members. It's not his make means of income, but he's working on it, called BSTuning (look it up on FB). He does everything from porting and polishing to installs to tuning via ECUTek and UpRev, by dyno, road and email.

I just missed him at the Z meet at Ace Cafe in Orlando this past Saturday. Pretty much I was leaving as he was arriving, but actually he was there about an hour or so when we decided to leave. Never saw or met him though, though I have spoken with him a few times via PM.

From what I have heard, he does excellent work.

Really great guy, easy to talk to and his prices can't be beat.

Buddy Sean does the best porting around the tampa area. The fastest NA Z has his manifold

How much does he charge for porting? I've been interested in buying a second upper/lower intake manifold and throttle bodies to have ported but don't know what labor usually runs.

I’d have to asking. I believe the combo will be cheaper then motordyne’s upper. I highly just recommend doing to upper and leaving the lower oem.

I would keep TB’s stock as well
