How much to install...
 
Zspeed CMAK, flywheel, clutch... On a mostly stock 370z.

I'll be he first to lol. And keep my flame suit off it's to early. Check diy section, not sure if there's that exact part but I'm sure there's a drop the tranny, open it diy. Get a fsm will help if u get lost. And I thought the cmak came with some instructions?

The standard clutch fee plus 2-4 hours for the CMAK since the trans is already out. Should not be more then that. I installed my CMAK and it was very straight forward with instructions.

Once the trans is dropped the CMAK should take no more than 30 minutes to install. It is 7 bolts inside and 2 bolts outside.

I agree now that i have done it. But for a first timer, it takes a little longer. ;)

I was quoted 7-8 hours labor on this job and was told it is harder than it looks and is quite detailed.

Well they're trying to get money out of you cuz it's not. I'm just a driveway hobby mechanic and it was very straight forward with good instructions. For the CMAK anyways. Doing the whole clutch as well will take time

I'm assuming he meant for the whole job, not just CMAK assuming the trans is already out.

Chucks estimate of 6-8 is accurate by my experience.
