Oil was filled to top circle on dipstick. Yesterday the dipstick showed the same reading, so no oil consumption that I can tell.
DD, no tracking yet, moderate driving.

Question? Are you doing your own oil changes or are you relying on the stealership to do so? I know three different stealerships that would put 6 quarts in my Juke when it only requires 4 3/4 quarts with change. Just curious if this is all your own determinations or what a dealership may be telling you to get you to buy another car...

Using Nissan oil filter. I do not track and do not beat the **** out of it, no race car driving :), I know, the OP was asking 2011 and up but since my year model is supposed to use a quart every 1000 miles I thought it interesting that is does not.

You should just change your oil yourself. They can't deny your warranty just because you do your own oil changes.
