Sorry forgot to reply to this message. I believe I did bleed it properly using a tall funnel and squeezing the radiator hoses to get all the bubbles out. So far it's been amazing and both oil and coolant temps never go higher than they were NA (even though I have no oil cooler)

Also for anybody that has a similar issue with the fans, keep in mind that they don't turn on full power until 100C!

Hoping to go on the dyno tomorrow to finally see the results.

Forgot to update this after the dyno but it was my first time tuning my own car and here's the results!

Tuned on Ecutek at wastegate pressure (7.5~psi near redline)

This is also before I learned how to properly tune the timing tables so it was just on around 13-14 degrees of timing near redline. I'm currently running 18 degrees on the street.
I'm going back to the dyno next week to retune it with my boost controller. I'm hoping to hit 620~ whp or around there.

So I've reached the end of the tunnel. While it's satisfying to finish it the way I wanted it in the beginning, I'm still a student and having a 650~ WHP Z isn't the best financial decision.


I will be parting out my car this upcoming winter, and will be offering a decent deal on installation and tuning for anyone in the Michigan/Ohio area. I might also entertain trades for a 6MT G37 or a Q50/Q60 if you guys know anyone.

My car is currently for sale and back to NA (test pipes and E85) making 330 whp (it's actually pretty fun still!) If you guys know anybody looking for a very clean stock '12 370Z with a newer motor (only 19k miles) please let me know.

Fortunately, I was able to score a pretty good deal on a nice daily and still stay in the VQ family. I might be able to do this again in the foreseeable future :) I got a red G37 coupe 6MT for $3600 !!!


I'm thankful to this forum and everyone who has helped me. Owning this car has been a great learning experience and I hope everyone enjoyed this journey as much as I did.

Thanks everyone for the kind words! I hope to buy a Z again in a couple years and push the limits on these turbos once again. I currently have a spare engine laying around that I might build over the next coupe years :)

I'm trying to buy a cheap Q50 3.7 AWD so I can make what Nissan/Infiniti failed to do, I'll update you guys as soon as I'm done.

Update for all my friends on the forum! I bought another Z, this time in a color that I like a little bit more. '14 Nismo with 29k miles!

Already have everything ready for it except for the S1SE from Phunk, and some ID1300s ;)
