I see this thread is about my car. I'll post up a video in a few. I tore the block down completely and checked every bearing, seal, the crank, etc. Everything was fine and I saw no indication of a failure or damage to any bearings or any fine metal in the sump and what not thus far. I swapped the heads, timing cover, chains, phasers, gears, and pump over to the new block. Should be fine since the only real concern out of everything was timing. But since I replaced everything from my motor.

Hopefully everything stays in shape... but I have good hopes

My fun was on a 1.6 liter Nissan engine I was doing a front cover reseal due to a big oil leak. 13hr job. They had 2 O-rings between the front cover and engine block. The oil pump was connected to the front cover. 2-piece oil pan, etc. I opened up the engine and that is exactly what it looked like the video I posted above.
