They don't have a dry sump for the VQ37VHR??

BGTV8 10-19-2016 10:56 PM

They certainly do, I funded the prototype ........ which is a part of my engine build .... here

http://www.the370z.com/engine-drivet...ine-build.html

Sump pan is one part of the kit, also contains pump mounting brackets, crank damper and gilmer-drive pulleys, etc etc. Remote oil tank not included.

Just got off the phone with them about 5k aussie for a basic system (a few grand more if you want the whole enchiladas) - exchange rate looks good right now for USD to AUD:tiphat:

Nice looking kit. I'm assuming that it replaces the AC compressor like the Dailey Engineering kit does?

Elmo370z 10-20-2016 09:52 AM

Anymore information about this kit? Does it have an option for a air oil separator and will the ATi dry sump damper work with this kit? Will you lose AC with this kit, summers are brutal here in fl

JJ's370z 10-20-2016 09:53 AM

yes, but he did explain a way where you can keep the AC, they make their own damper i believe.

Im on the website now and all i can see is the damper and the pan. I Don't see an option for the entire kit.

Yeah i told him he needs to update his website - BGTV8 has the system on his VQ40 a few posts above, it has more pictures of the 370z kit.

They mainly do RB motors, 15 in the last 2 months.

Yeah i noticed that. I clicked on BG's link. Guess i'll just have wait to until more info is out about the kit.

I'm sitting here thinking looks like the most important part is the oil pan. Now mind you I'm just now starting to research Drysump's but could one not build there own kit? I found plenary of websites with supplies

Barnes Dry Sump Oil Pump Systems - Circle Track Supply, Inc.

Now of course you need a lot of research like how much pressure you will need to make sure you get the correct size pump and oil tank. But hey it's a start lol

Daily engineering makes a dry sump setup as well. So they do have others out there. Looks good though.
