I had this issue with my AWD G37 and I finally got it resolved with Seb's tune. This issue lingered though my previous uprev AND ecutek tunes and it really killed my driving experience. It honestly came to a point where I thought it was the nature of the transfer case.

I read plenty of this issue on the boards and some people have mentioned certain solutions like you listed: ECU Reset - Dealer flash for TSB.

I also did my whole fueling system (Fuel return + pump/injector upgrade) before getting tuned by Seb, so those could also be other factors as well. I'm pretty certain it was the tune though because the issue was happening on the BASE tune that Seb sent me. It went away after he started actually making adjustments.
