It's a push in my opinion, 101 or 100 at the pump runs less thand $10 a gallon so you aren't gaining much if any thing. The biggest advantage is if you can't get race fuel and for Ban at AC it would be worth it.

I read somewhere U can use aviationgas(avgas) and get it at the local small airports, not sure of mixing %s

If you looking run race gas all you need is 100 octane. You just need to make sure it is unleaded. Most of the time if it has lead in it, it will be 103, 112 or something of that nature at the pump. You can buy some really high dollar stuff from VP that is oxygenated as well but I don't see a need for that unless you a racing full-time. Strip your car down and make it lighter if you want it to go faster and NA lol!

We are talking apples and oranges. When the person mentioned aviation fuel at the pump, that is fuel used by prop planes. Jet fuel does have kerosene in it and that is why it stinks so bad!

This stuff is available at my local performance parts store. $88 10 gallon drum. 104 octane
