i never heard of the company nor any idea where it is or who was promoting it lol

i just saw a new product that we've all been wanting and got excited.

still awaiting to see what phunk has in the works whenever he finishes it.

I agree you with waiting on phunk. Hopefully it something badass or flows similar to 1slowzs manifold

the only downfall with phunks is he has other projects going and it seems the intake manifold is towards the bottom of the priority list.

anymore i feel it's time to forget about any more mods on the Z and move on to adding a new vehicle to the garage. its a dead mod market unless you're boosted.

After looking around, I have not found a clear answer. What are the reasons people are looking for a new intake manifold? What restrictions are you running into? I see with high boost applications the risk of blow outs but even that is pretty un-common. I have seen a few nitrous back-fires not end well with them. But overall after a pretty solid amount of these on the dyno we have not seen a "restriction" anywhere due to the intake alone.

Always down to learn more so I am curious.

Elmo370z 09-30-2015 10:35 AM

Im.looking for one to compliment the heads and cam and larger tb's and higher revloution and not having to go back and reinstall, i want everything set in place is my reason. Are you saying our manifolds are good, if we are trying the rev the **** out of these.motors? Im always game to learn more about these motors

GZ3 09-30-2015 10:36 AM

maybe not so much a restriction, but an improvement anywhere? Im just looking to make the most HP out of this car

Elmo370z 09-30-2015 10:39 AM

Or based on the motor is basically is a big air pump, the more air you can get in a out the more power you make. So a great manifold like the one slowZ had would really help.in thay area, but im to poor to put up for a 1 off custom manifold

FPenvy 09-30-2015 10:39 AM

more HP from a upper/lower upgrade combo would be amazing.

bonus points would be if the upper was functional and had a nice look than the bulky black plastic oem upper.

carbon fiber intake like the AMS GT-R one.......pure sex. and also $8k but still sexy lol

Elmo370z 09-30-2015 10:42 AM

Agreeed with his statement ^^^

Elmo370z 09-30-2015 10:42 AM

Or spend 3500 on a billet one off, just want something other then going boost, ill go boost once the r34 becomes avilable

that's where the Z sucks though. market is too small so it's not worth the R&D to bring a new piece to the mass market. hence the reason of things like one-off unicorn pieces that cost a ton of money.

the HR guys are having pretty good success with port jobs on upper and lower work. I dont see why we couldnt benefit!

Elmo370z 09-30-2015 11:07 AM

If worst comes to worse, guess ill have to shell out for a one part
