Jim Wolf Cam testing for the VQ37VHR -- Results inside!
Blue line C1 cams
Red line C2 cams https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...7f361f0a13.jpg Pretty good comparison as mostly same build on both pulls. (Red pull was on block with proper pistons, blue pull had rattly, slightly too small pistons hence the rebuild with the C2s) Similar hp Slightly better low end torque with C2s |
Do you have test pipes, stock cats, HF cats, or long tube headers?

Edit;
Z1 400 hp kit, and Stillen g3 long tube intakes, Berk CBE. Also,(but likely unrelated) z1 built short block, ATI harmonic balancer, jet hot ceramic coated from headers to test pipes. Nismo oil pump. Uprev tune. Z1 lightweight clutch/flywheel (6mt) billet CSC. Z1 vented rotors... I think that’s all the stuff that might effect hp/ torque numbers, and none of changed between cam swaps except for tightening the clearances between pistons and cylinders a few thousandths. stillen does have a set of headers that are pretty much the exact shape/setup as the Z1 shorty headers. maybe thats why i went that way as well. |

Correct |
Maybe I missed it but has anyone done a before and after with the v1 or v2 cams on a turbo Z?

I was thinking about doing a before and after dyno to see results but it's hard not to upgrade the internals with the engine pulled.

Z1 just busted the highest NA hp record with these cams. Video posted on Youtube.
376 HP. |

Congrats!
I heard in the video you have headers, test pipes, cbe, CAI w/ z1 upgrade, ported upper/lower intake manifolds. Anything else? aftermarket diff, lightweight flywheel, rotors, etc? |
