Just recently did this myself and the oem shims gave me backlash within the spec (.0039 -.0059) HOWEVER the preload was not within spec (7.7 lbs - 8.8 lbs) mine

Just recently did this myself and the oem shims gave me backlash within the spec (.0039 -.0059) HOWEVER the preload was not within spec (7.7 lbs - 8.8 lbs) mine was about 3lbs. I had to get shims that were 5mm more for both sides to bring everything within spec.
