If this is a DD, any of the better "brand-name" lubes (whether for engine, trans, diff) will work well. Going by the comments on this site, the Redline brand that JARBlue mentioned is one of the better ones. Several others to pick from. Lots of which-oil-is-the-best threads on this site.
Tranny oil is cheap and changing it is not difficult (unless you have a turbo manifold like jwick). Try starting with a "heavy" lube this Winter and see how it works for you. If you don't like it, try something a little lighter. Repeat until you find the just-right weight for you.
