Help!! Shifter feels weird.

So my shop dropped my transmission this week and installed a new clutch kit, CSC and master. The original CSC took a crap right as the car crossed 100k mile and I took the chance to replace the original clutch and master cylinder too just to be on the safe side. In any case after everything was put together I take the car for a test drive today and the shifter is different and not in a good way.
When I try to shift from 4th to either 5th or 6th I feel like the stick travels all the way right past the 5 and 6 gate. It even goes all the way to reverse without pressing down on the shifter. This is obviously not right so I searched here and was only able to find a thread about shifter guide plates but for 350Z. Any light you guys can shed on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I'm not certain, but I believe it is possible to incorrectly reinstall the shifter after transmission work is done. I think I remember another member had this same issue a few months ago, at any rate take it back to the shop

I'll take it back the them after the Holiday weekend. I'm hoping to know what's going on before then so I could tell them.
