Has anyone installed an oil cooler on a 2012 -15 Z. I'm curious to know what the cooler's thermo-plate does with the water collar at the oil filter on these

2013 oil cooler install
Has anyone installed an oil cooler on a 2012 -15 Z. I'm curious to know what the cooler's thermo-plate does with the water collar at the oil filter on these late models.
Does it just stack on or do you delete the water cooled plate? Thanks, Greg |
