Thanks ! I have them do the Z1 elimination kit also .

This is my drift car 50000 mile OEM clutch.

That's cuz it has no power:stirthepot::rofl2:

My track slut is a '03 IS300 and the OEM clutch has 140k on it. Same symptom, no power

:iagree:

Well I just picked up the Z from the dealer and driving it to TF works. They gave me the car in worse condition that I brought it in. Now all the gears are slipping. BAD ! Also when you turn on the car for the first time you hear a whining sound coming from the engine -tranny :/ They seem kind of pissed that I didn't have them do the work. But for 2000 $3000 screw them! They had the nerve to ask me if I would bring them the aftermarket clutch kit so they can install it . I just looked at him like WTF ? Yeah right.

They told me the only way the clutch would have gone bad is by beating the Z hard . I told them does it look like I beat my Z . This is a pic 1yr after I have own it in Chicago at that. Have to do this at 17700 is bull Sh**

Fuck the dealer. I beat all my autos hard but I maintain them well. Why have a car if you can't push it sometimes?

After 44k miles, full bolt-on NA, and lots of that spirited driving, when I pulled my OEM clutch for the turbo build it was still in perfect condition. Beat on it caused the failure my ***...Caulk another one up for the Stealership.

Good decision with aftermarket parts and shop.

milko002 05-28-2015 04:40 PM

Sorry about my last response I was using the talk and text. I have a thread started in the audio video section which explains how I did it. The only thing I didn't add was the wiring diagram. I have to get to it many many people of been asking me for it

This app works great with the iPad. Looking back at the data it looks like I was having problems with the clutch starting back in December.http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/05...5a7aed7492.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/05...a18a5d9466.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/05...d8f8deb3ba.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/05...ab5513142d.jpg

Most likely they messed up the pilot bearing while they had it, i know most of the time when the transmission starts making a whining noise it's because the pilot bearing is on it's way out. Mine makes the same noise right now, but that's due to the idiot that had the car before me letting a rear seal leak go for to long and running the transmission with the fluid low for who knows how long. Lucky for you most of the aftermarket clutch kits come with a new pilot bearing :)

milko002 05-28-2015 08:26 PM

Now that I think about it back in December it was making the same noise but it would go away once the car heated up.

Same thing that mine does, once the car warms up the whining almost completely dissappears with the exception of whining when it's in gear and accelerating
