Has nothing to do with being able to afford it. And buying a 'want' on credit is a bad financial decision unless you manage zero percent interest.

All depends how you use credit cards. I do it all the time, my credit score is 813. As long as your apr isn't god awful, that little bit of interest isn't going to hurt.

No I haven't. Could you help me? What would I see if I had pulled my pan? And why isn't my suggestion needed?

Has nothing to do with credit score. You should never purchase a 'want' that you can't pay for in cash, unless you get some special financing (i.e. 0%). If you do then your financial planning is misguided. Buying on credit is what cause the financial collapse back in 2008.

But we digressed way off the path...back to the awesomeness that is Phunk's Oil Pan!

The VQ does already have oil scrapers in the shield under the crank! This makes the oil pan's job easier.

Thanks for those pictures.

Thats 19... I will make the 20th pan for free by subtracting $35 from everyone's bill, putting it at $660.

Damn it, there you went with the price drop...So what would my shipped cost be to have the pan black with -6AN male fitting (mating to a -6AN swivel fitting - BP Kit Exa Pump return) on the flat portion of the passenger side and an 1/8"PT tap for my oil sender on the flat portion of the driver side of the pan (lowest possible to make sure it stay submerged)?

phunk 06-04-2015 05:13 PM

That would come to $700 shipped!

Just do it, you know you want it. You've been trying to talk yourself out of it this whole page.

Instead of giving $35 back to everyone, I could draw from a hat and someone gets theirs for free at 20??

I'm not buying and the raffle thing sound fun and all. However, everyone getting $2x back would be the best IMO. Keeps it clean and up front and no one gets sore and says, "I paid first and had to pay more...I got screwed for being the first to trust...ect"

Anyhoo, Phunk you are the MAN!! You make and have some very cool products and projects!
