Without 10+ buyers, there never will be an update!

I suppose we can start the official in-list for the oil pump gears? Please post up if you are in for sure. Since I am not the manufacturer of this product, just a middle man, I would need a $150 deposit from the 10 buyers to start production (remaining $245 + ship due after production is complete). Deposit due date would be set only after we make it to 10+ buyers on the in-list. At that point I would find out the production ETA and we would choose an agreeable deposit and payment schedule. So no payments due or even accepted at this point.

Please post here and let us know if you are 100% in!

I will edit the first post to put the list there as soon as we get responses.

Thanks everyone.

I wish I had the funds to build an uber VQ37 engine... so enticing!

So with the power dropping off at higher RPM, is it because we're exceeding the flow limit of the heads? Charles, have you started rebuilding the valvetrain utilizing dual springs and upgraded valves?

Carbon_z 06-09-2015 11:01 AM

sounds tempting ;)

I am interested, I am just not sure I want to go that far at the moment. Becuase if I do this, I will want to do headers (of some type), HFC's, a set of Jun exhaust cams (if I can find them) to go with it, and get a custom tune. All that adds up....LOL

Don't you have a TT Z?

With ecu tek new software you won't need jun cams they can time the vvel.

Stock block. With the house being a priority there's not much I can do, unless I plan on living in my car ;)

VVEL is only for the intake valves. Nothing for Exhaust valves.

Makes sense

Engine manufacturers have to compromise what engine speed window they want their engines to perform best in, and construct it to do so. Various intake manifold specifications, camshafts, valve event timing, header size/shape/style, among several other things are what determine the engines powerband. These are the same things you have to work on changing around if you want to move the engines powerband from where it was originally intended. Technologies like VVEL allow some useful and added flexibility, but until all the meaningful specs of an engine use dynamic technology, there will always be performance sacrifices at varying engine speeds. So there is no solid flow limits to the heads, its all in how you use them.

For my heads, my built engine will be using HR heads as to eliminate the VVEL system.
