If you've never messed with the wiring harness on the transmission, I doubt the senor would have come undone by itself, so probably just a faulty sensor.

Alright good to know. Is it easily accessible? That was the dealers biggest concern pertaining to whether the tranny would need to be replaced for whatever reason. None the less. It's under warranty still.
