OP, opening the VVEL head is not for the squeamish (Nissan officially regards them as "non-serviceable") and without tuning, expect problems, even on an install where all goes well.

You can't really compare his car to anyone else's because that thing was modded to hell and back. Who else has a dry sump? And a different manifold? And no AC? And dual 3.5" intakes from a DE?
