If you are auto-crossing, doing some extreme driving, or have swapped your wheels & tires for a wider and larger diameter set, you are taxing your stock steering fluid cooler and risking the chance of boil-over or cooking the fluid.

The differences between the stock steering Fluid Cooler and the New STILLEN unit are capacity and volume. The reservoir for the STILLEN unit is larger which eliminates the chance of boil-over. The lines are also larger in diameter, allowing more volume through the steering system.

The 87.0mm stroke affords a major advantage; it can be dropped into an unmodified (i.e. unsleeved) block with no need for longer sleeves (that have to be notched to preserve the oil jets), as is the case with the 90mm stroke crank. In this Hi-Rev iteration of the crank, two key improvements were made: lowered weight and, most notably, optimized oil passages.
