joe , im just installing my cmak , any knowledge on how to determine the state of my dual mass flywheel?how do i know it need to be changed ?

There is a check in the FSM on how to determine, You can grab the face of it and turn it to the right, If it has a lot of slack before it hits the sprung part of it, it is worn. It should be replaced if you are changing the clutch for sure.

Wanted to give this thread a bump and a tiny review as people need to be aware of such an amazing product for our cars and very much needed!
I ordered from ZPEED after i got the dreaded CSC failure, i ordered the ZSP Stage 1 Street Clutch With Options /w CMAK (Clutch Movement Alteration Kit CSC Delete) and WOW, what a difference it makes, i no longer have to worry about the CSC failure again but the shitty clutch we all deal with that causes jerky 1-2 gear shifts is soooooo much smoother and soo much better. You'll kill 2 birds with one stone, no more csc issues and much better clutch feel for DD. |
