Billet Dry Sump Set ups for the VQ37VHR From MA-Motorsports!

With there being a few Band-Aid fixes for the serious road race guys that are running in to oiling issues at high RPMs and oil pump issues. There is only one true solution, the Daily dry sump set up.

We here at MA Motorsports have been working with Daily in the past on many projects, and are happy to offer up their products to you guys!

The pan is a solid Billet piece that has been milled to have the pump mount built right into it, eliminating the need for any AN lines between the pan and pump both saving money and eliminating a failure point.

With that you have a few pump options:

4 Stage pump (NA Cars)
5 Stage pump (Turbo Cars)

The pump also has the option to add a built in Air Oil Separator, and we would recommend that for all street, road race, and drift cars (NO need for drag race) as it prevents the oil from foaming at sustained high RPMs.

All kits will come with the pan, pump set up of your choice. ATI Damper, All pulley’s and spacers needed, 2 belts (One spare) and the drive mandrel for the front of the ATI Damper.

We will also include the PRC serviceable tank in our set up(10qt). This is a great tank as it is not only easily mounted in most compartments, it is also able to be broken down for cleaning very easily.

• Redesigned internal vent for superior air/oil separation.
• 10 Qt. Capacity, better oil control.
• Available with single-16AN return or optional dual 16AN return.
• 100% TIG welded.
• O Ring type replaceable fittings.

The only thing not included in the set up are the lines, mainly due to the fact that people may want to route them differently. If we can get a customer car in here for the kit I would be more than happy to jig a line kit for it also!

PM Me for the price on this set up!

Will shoot you a PM, yes it will. But, most SC units theses days are self contained and will not need oil pumped through.

Are you sure? I remember him mentioning that he lost AC. Since I'm in Texas, that's an automatic deal breaker. Otherwise I'd be all over something like this.

"After talking to Sam I decided to let GTM develop a new cost effective solution to this problem and he came through with a Billet oil pan, Peterson Fluid Systems R4 4-stage drysump pump, and peterson tanks, breathers, filters. In order to keep the costs down it was decided to make a billet bracket to replace the air conditioning with the pump and make the pan so that lines could be run to it. The A/c can be reinstalled down the road by using the GTM Bracket kit to move the alternator and power steering up and mounting the pump on the passenger side but for now I decided to save a couple grand and drop the weight of the a/c system"

Chuck33079 02-02-2016 09:35 PM

Ok, so he ditched the ac but it's possible. Good find.

Just saw your PM! I apologize for the delay, will be writing a response in just a minute!

As far as I am aware, we do not have any kits in a "Street" car at this time, so all the tanks are mounted in the rear of the chassis.

Also, with the GTM kit and AC bracket it would not be the same, they use an external pump and this set up uses a pan mounted pump. Im sure there is a way.

You have to find room for the oil tank. Most put it behind the right seat in the trunk. You then have to deal with the heat coming off of it and how to drain the oil from it. But it's :yum:
