Finally pulled the trigger after plenty research and planning... Switchback halos, purple running light, turn-signal delete (halos are turn signals now, go orange when signal is on and then back to white when off) and paint. they look BALLER.

What is everyone using for paint? Gloss, satin or flat black?

Do you guys not sand down your headlight parts? The paint is going to probably chip or crack sooner or later. I just finished taking mine apart, sanding, painting, and putting them back together...Here's how they currently sit:

If you use Krylon Fusion paint, no need to sand prime or otherwise. People (me too) have no issues with cracks or delamination since good few years

That would have saved me a good hour of sanding.

has anyone done a headlight restoration kit on the inside of the clear lens? my headlights have scratches from inside that I wanna fix? basically can I sand them and put a clear coat on the inside?

JUST did this yesterday and with GREAT success!

I did 15 mins at 225 degrees and they pull apart amazingly, almost minimal effort or breaking anything!

Cheers!! :tiphat:

For a moment I stared at the temperature in disbelief when I realised u might mean fahrenheit, not celsius. Please specify for everybody's benefit. Thx a lot :-)
