Again, glad I could help!

Taking the weight out prolongs the life of the springs as well as the struts AND allows people to put sound deadening without worrying about the hatch not opening

im trying to decide if i should just recycle it or keep it for no reason or... :confused:

I kept it... I don't really know why though... But it's just sitting in the garage...
