Hello all,
I really feel stupid right now since everyone seemed to finish this easily. Everything went fine, even until pulling out the plug from the BCM. But then the male T connector is much smaller then the plug I took out ! It is square ! No way it fits there ! And even less the female part that has to fit In the taken out plug... Is there an adaptator to plug on the wires before plugging them in ? I ordered them in Germany since I am in France and... I don't understand... I'm on the BCM on the passenger side and the very well done tutorial leaves no doubt about the harness to unplug. I'm confused... Now I have unilluminated kick plates ! :-) Anyone has an idea ? |
In the end I cut the wires and made a bridge. It works now, even is the kickplates light are always on... I guess it's LEDs so it shouldn't eat to much electricity but I really hope it won't suck my battery dry !

I'd definitely like to see a video of this install, Im gonna order mine this week.

Great walk through will make the install of my plates 100% easier

Installed mine today. Very easy job. Reading the instructions made the job harder, then in actuality.:driving:

Im going to do this install on two cars. I have searched around and only see one version of the kickplates (black plastic and brushed aluminum)
Does anyone know of any other style options like carbon fiber or solid black? Thanks! |
