DIY: Homelink install in a Base/Nismo

I just did this install but I cant figure out how to program homelink. When I try resetting memory by pressing two outer buttons , nothing happens. My compass works

When I try resetting memory by pressing two outer buttons , nothing happens. My compass works fine and my auto dimming too. Any ideas or suggestions ?
