I finally got around to installing the GT-R start button. Super quick and easy. Thanks all for the great idea and the DIY steps.

Mine arrived today (UK) having ordered from Japan (On Amazon UK) because it was cheapest although it took a little longer to arrive.

Fitted in ten minutes using OP's original method

Looking great but looking forward to tonight to see the illuminated switch.
