Damn I should've searched the DIY a long time ago. I've been driving by this land fill for a few months and I was begining to think the filter needed to be replaced...but Nissan didn't even put one in the first place

Nissan is just NOW installing these cabin air filters standard as of the 2010 model line.

Is it in all 2010 370's or just recently change in production line.

Based on what I read on Nissan North America's website, they should be installed on all 2010 models. It was a listed item on their sheet with 2010 model revisions.

Did this DIY yesterday and used STP filter P/N CAF1792 and had to trim the filter because it was interfiring with the fresh/recirc air door. I noticed it because smells from the outside got in my car when it was in recirc mode. I recommend to check the operation of this door before reasembling the glove box.:ugh2:

if STP, i think you want to use CAF1766.

The correct filter and equivalents are:

STP: CAF1766
Purolator: C35479
WIX: 24883
Fram: CF10157

The filter I got shown in my previous pic was pretty flimsy so I returned it. They didn't have any of the ones listed at the two Kragen's I went to.

I asked at a few places for the Fram CF10157 since it's a charcoal filter, but everywhere I looked it had to be ordered since it was a newer filter. So instead I went with the Fram CF10140 which is for the G35. It fits way better than the stock one which was a bit skinnier. This one is the same length and width, and leaves no gaps around the sides.
