So, got the lid off after completely removing the center console. It looks like the original covering was glued to it as well as melted to it in places. The new replacement covering barely fits, so I'm going to have to pull it pretty tight to make it look good.
Any thoughts on how to secure the new covering to the lid? It seems like I'm going to have to use some spray adhesive, but that might not be enough. I've been looking at how other people have done it on other vehicles and it seems staple guns are pretty common. Not sure how well that'd work in this situation... Anyone have any thoughts / advice?
