Try this ^. You should be able to feel/hear any liquid present.


Plan on it being slam full - pans, rags, water hose, &c. Draining/siphoning some coolant before removing the hose should lessen the mess. Any spills in the engine compartment will rinse off with water.

Edit: The FSM should tell you if DE is right and give the Nissan procedure for removing the hose.
