Nice find. The two mentioned look awfully similar to two from adams at 1/3 of the price..can anyone comment on a quality comparison?

They are the same exact towel. There are only a few companies that manufacture South Korean microfiber so a lot of different resellers get them from the same place. This is no secret. All you have to do is choose the best price and service.

Fantastic! Thanks!

Just a heads up, stay away from the double-plush white towels for now (the ones that are basically 2 towels sewn together and white in color). They are having issues with the manufacturing process since they retooled the facility. You will notice that they are not available on The Rag Company's website right now (listed as the 1400). There's a reason that they have been temporarily discontinued.

The "costco" MF towels are good for cleaning the interior or windows, i use them for that….or cleaning my exhaust tips..

Gotta love some good qualify MF towels for the paint though :)

Are these towels good to use for car washing? Or just detailing?

I received mine within 5 days of ordering, they are good towels, a lot softer than autozoni's towels. +1

Using them to wash the car is the absolute LAST thing you want to do with these towels. That would be like feeding your dog a $50 steak every day. Watch my 2-bucket wash videos. They will help you a LOT.

Junkman,
Thanks for the advice. I was just ready to wash my car tomorrow with these towels. Now I usually buy online for all my car needs, but tomorrow is my only day off and my only chance to wash my car until next week. Anyone recommend some mitts I can buy at a local store to wash my car?

This should be a video in dvd format every dealership hands a customer upon purchasing a car.

Now for some new news. The Rag Company has implemented a new shipping policy. Until further notice, everyday is "PIMPIN" FREE FRIDAY!" That's right folks, every minimum order of $30 ships for FREE every day of the week! Add to that, most orders ship priority so you get your towels super fast. Just to give you an idea as to how fast (for those of you who don't already know), here's one of my orders that traveled 1,885 miles and made it to my front door in less than 48 hours!!! http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/h.../surprised.gif

http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/h...y_shipping.png

As if that ain't good enough news, they have also implemented a discount for all military, fire/rescue and police members! The details are posted on their Facebook page. Enter your respective code and receive a 5% discount on top of their already shockingly low prices, It appears that The Rag Company is in a "sharing the luv" mood so get to gettin' while the gettin' is good! http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/h.../2thumbsup.gif

Why aren't you the official spokesman of The Rag Company yet? It would seem like a great business move

That's an easy one. The company that I work for (the one I happen to own), pays me $130 per hour. if I work 10 hours a month, I can pay all of my bills. All of the remaining time is me time. That's why I'm able to be on the forums all times of the day and night. There is no way in hell that I will ever work for anyone else, but I will always help out as many folks as I can with information like this. :tiphat:

Pimpin, IS easy.

At least for the junkman.
