Don't use rags that are dirty. Try the two bucket method when car washing. One bucket is clean water where you dip a rag/microfiber cloth into after wiping the car. Then you wring the water out and dip into the soap bucket and then wipe the car down again.

Do not use walmart or autozone rags or MF towels get some nice high quality ones.

Use a 2 bucket wash system one for wash one for rinse.

Use a separate wash mit for the top and the bottom of your car, wash bottom last.

Use grit guards in your buckets

Use a real wash mit/pad to wash your car not a MF towel. MF towels hold dirt easier than mits especially when you go to rinse them out.

Use a foam gun or canon to layer the car with foam before starting to wash.

Dry using a air source like a leaf blower. Only use MF drying towels stay away from shames and blades.

Do not wipe your car down with anything if it is dirty!!

Do not let people touch your paint.

If you have bugs on the front pretreat them and wash that part last.

Wax helps but can only do so much. But yes keep it waxed.

Completely true.

In my opinion, the drying process will cause the most harm. I'll be picking up a leaf blower soon.

The good news is that it can be fixed. The bad news is you'll develop a mild-serious case of detailing OCD...and a few less dead Presidents in your wallet.

Watch these and learn
