Default water spots on black nismo 370z...

I have a black nismo 370z and noticed water spots which I can't feel with my finger and they have only been there for a day, some of them came off with meguirs ultimate compound...tomorrow I'm going to go to a detailer, what should I have them do to get rid of every little bit of the spots?

Let the detailer take care of it since you're taking it to one?

Well the detail place did a clay wax and polish/buff and wax and some of the spots are there still, are those spots basically permanent and only visible in a certain angle at a certain light...since the cars black, so there permanent? I have meguirs ultimate compound, does that hurt the paint, please help....

dont worry-i had water spots from washing my black cherry 370Z with my well water and the sun was going down-but not quite yet. SO-the spots dried and i had etching -minerals in water make a white spot on your car and dont come off with washing. Let the detailer use their magic on it.They might take a PC and some swirl and haze remover ---they wont hurt your paint.

that being said-once it is corrected-if you can figure out where the water came from that made the spots-dont let that water dry on your car via sunlight.

i ended up buying a filter that i screw onto my hose that i wash my car with-and i wash after the sun is totally down. dry with a leaf blower if you have one then wipe the rest of the water off with microfiber towels and some detail spray.

oops-I just read this. ok-there is a hard water spot remover that you can buy-try www.majesticsolutions.com They sell a hard water spot remover that worked great -it is time consuming though. The name of the product is Bio clean. It worked on my black cherry without any ill effects and the spots have not been back since i put a filter on my hose. dont worry-you can get them off-will take time and some patience.

Invest in a CR system...COSTCO is the cheapest...I have black NISMO with hard water of 4+ in FL. In 95 full sun, zero spots with CR Spotless rinse...I am a believer...

I have seen some of the worst advice ever on the web from eHow.com. They once had a guy explaining how to detail a car using a dirty bucket, a cheap rag and some Formula 409. I about passed out.

I wash my car with Brita Filtered Water J/K

After you get those water spots out I've used the Mr. Clean Car Wash Nozzel to rinse....not to fond of the whole soap despenser....but the water jet settings are good....

I'll second the CR Spotless system. I've used it for two years and I would say there is no better product!!
