armytrix valvetronic exhaust
Anyone have this in canada yet,im thinking about getting this,it sounds awsome:yum:

Very interesting.....
It sounds actually really good. I can't say for myself on the quality or history of this particular exhaust system. The way it has always been..... If that's what you're wanting with regards to sound.... That's only your choice:tup: As for my opinion;) With your set up and the investment you have place.into your Z .... I would go with a more well known exhaust that others with your setup have experienced. Hp is not much different between brands. If its sound you're looking for.... Get what u want brother:tiphat: |
why would you ever wanna close the vavle? just get gthaus like me :)
|
Can you give me some of the money you want to burn?
|
Most exhaust clips have poor audio and far from accurate. The sound is hard to capture without the right recording equipment. Best bet is to find one and listen in person. It is loud though. Good luck on your exhaust search.

I think this may be the same brand, but it comes in a bunch of rad tip options and I really like the idea of a valved system.

This does retail at $3000 and I know they are looking for someone to debut it in North America, I was tossing around the idea of it with the gold tips since I'm gaudy, but I think I would be over the look pretty quick. I just wanted it for the valved option really.
|
you could always make an exhaust exactly the way you like, or buy something with all of the options you want without any hassle. I guess the same reason I would buy this system is the same reason I wouldn't machine my own control arms, bend up my own intake, or make my own carbon lip. Someone else that knows what they are doing has already done it.

How about this exhaust:ugh2:
It was at your house;) |
i see my exhaust got a shout out on the first page lol
|
I actually ordered it and am installing it tomorrow on my 2010 nismo! it was a little over 2k with high flow down pipes and I always liked valves on exhaust. Thought it was cool that you can have open close or auto. The auto function is vacuum triggered at 3500 rpms like the new corvette. so I said screw it and will be the tester! I should have my car back around noon tomorrow and will post a thread on how it really sounds and what my gains are after my tune wish me luck haha.. Someone had to try it so I figured why not. I did have to wire the money but everything came within a week from Hong Kong.
|
I guess if u go with exhaust system you're gonna need to stages for your mapping. One with the valve closed and with it open? Especially with your supercharger?
|
so the shop ran behind today and the exhaust was installed but unfortunately they didnt have time to run the vacuum lines or wire it into the ecu.... the exhaust looks great though and is definitely quality built from what i saw. i will have it tomorrow morning though!

I can't believe someone spent $2000+ for a Chinese made exhaust, LOOOOOL :bowrofl: Glad someone has too much money to burn. Btw, you can add a manual exhaust valve to any exhaust for $140. I'm sure someone can make it electronic for you, AND you won't have to buy a sketch Chinese exhaust Sorry, I'm considering HK to be China, at least I'm not saying all of Asia is China |

An electric valve will run you ~$250 (QTP). |

and QTP even has wireless remotes that can go on your key chain lol could have went quality exhaust, modded the TPs with QTP valves, and had money for more mods. to each their own. i know the excitment in having something no one else does though. |

Link to an electronic valve? Why mod the TPs? They don't have one that goes between the flanges? My buddy's manual one went between the flanges in the Y-pipe so it only needed 1, and it was easy to manipulate |

As far as I know, there is some welding required for installation. |

By the looks of it, some wouldn't need to be welded in |
Electric cutout motors have a high failure rate. And they always seem to fail halfway closed so it sounds like complete ***. :rofl2:
